Eric Rabinowitz is President of the The Nurture Institute™ and co-author of Nurturing Customer Relationships. Along with his partner and co-author Jim Cecil, Mr. Rabinowitz leads strategic planning to help the Nurture Institute’s customers transform their businesses utilizing the Nurture Institute’s nurture marketing methodology, products and services.
Mr. Eric Rabinowitz has been a successful entrepreneur his entire life. He has a unique ability to spot emerging market trends and to create businesses to provide products and services to these emerging industries. In 1989, Mr. Rabinowitz uncovered the technical support help desk marketplace and utilizing Jim Cecil’s nurture marketing techniques created a highly profitable business, IHS Support Solutions. As President and Founder of IHS Support Solutions, he built successful consulting, staffing and training practices and grew the business to $17M before selling the business in December of 2003. Mr. Rabinowitz has appeared on television, radio, quoted in the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal and Inc. Magazine as a business spokesperson for his exceptional management style and his industry leadership. On January 24, 2002 Mr. Rabinowitz created and led a group of industry executives from 1-800 Flowers, Adecco, Amtrak, Continental Airlines, Federal Express, Microsoft and Verizon Communications, at the Pentagon to discuss how these leading companies could support the United State’s fight against terrorism by offering jobs to military spouses. The symposium resulted in the creation of a call center in New Mexico staffed exclusively by military spouses.
In January of 2004, he launched his newest venture, The Nurture Institute™. Teaming with Jim Cecil, the father of Nurture Marketing, Mr. Rabinowitz has created a series of products and services to help train senior management to implement true nurture marketing techniques within their companies. The team of Cecil and Rabinowitz published their first book together in September of 2006 entitled, Nurturing Customer Relationships. Utilizing Jim Cecil’s story telling and narrative style and Mr Rabinowitz’s experience with Nurture, one reader commented that “Cecil and Rabinowitz are like two old philosophers who you can't stop listening to”.
Mr. Rabinowitz has delivered the Keynote for Microsoft’s Quarterly Partner Briefing, Network 2000, New York Life and Sun Microsystems China Symposium. He facilitates an ongoing monthly marketing round table discussion for Microsoft that has been recognized as a regional best practice. Mr. Rabinowitz along with Barbara Pfeiffer lead Microsoft’s award winning Marketing Essential Boot Camp program.
