Marketing Lessons from a CEO – Fred Pack – February 2009
You may want your CEO to hear Fred Pack speak. Fred started a company called Unipress that sold a help desk software product called Footprints. Fred and his partner Mark Krieger built Unipress from a small software and services company to a company that they eventually sold to Numara Software. Fred attributes a large part of the growth of Unipress to Marketing. He was very successful leveraging the “free” download to accelerate and generate sales. One of the recurring themes we hear in our meetings is that your CEO does not always see the value of long term strategic marketing? Fred will be able to talk owner to owner about the true value of marketing. Fred will cover, Marketing—why it is absolutely critical for success, how to do it successfully, yet why many other elements are also needed for success, and current marketing opportunities which you may not know about.
